Yuri Gagarin, First Human to Orbit Our Spaceship Earth

It Is Now Time to Start Building the Orbiting Space Colonies
by Michael Goodspaceguy Nelson

On April 12, 1961, Russian Yuri Gagarin became the first human to go into space and orbit our SpaceShip Earth. This was an amazing accomplishment for the human race in the 20th century which began as a horse and buggy age. This means that humans went from the horse and buggy age to the beginnings of the space age in about only 6/10ths of a century.
Our next great accomplishment should be to start the orbital colonies.
Our technological abilities continue to race forward, and our solar system is waiting for the life that we can give it. Building orbiting colonies can be the easy and less expensive next step.
We should at first put these colonies in orbit around the Earth and around the Moon and then around Mars.
